Payment
All prices listed are in Australian Dollars (AUD). I accept payment via debit/credit card or Afterpay.
Postage
** Due to COVID19 there are postage delays with all shipping providers – both Australia Post and Sendle are experiencing higher than usual volumes. Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks for your order in addition to standard postage times**
** Australia Post Express Post has currently suspended its Next Day Guarantee so even Express Post may take longer than the usual 1-4 business days it used to take, however I have been advised that it will still be faster than standard post **
HappyNess Designs currently only ships within Australia and all items are dispatched with tracking.
All orders are custom made, and can take up to 7 days to complete once you have paid for your order. Due to being burnt in the past, I will not begin working on your order until payment has been received.
Express Post does not mean your item will be created any faster. It means that once your order is completed within our standard 7 business days that it will THEN be sent via Express Post to you. Express Post is currently 1-4 business days as per the Australia Post website depending on your location (plus additional time due to covid-19 postal delays). If you require your order by a certain date, please contact us first to discuss whether it can be made and sent to you by your required date.
HappyNess Designs will not be held accountable for any items lost or damaged during transit with Australia Post or Sendle. If you are worried about this at all then I urge you to take out Signature on Delivery and Insurance on your order. Instructions on how to add these to your order can be found on the Frequently Asked Questions page.
Sales Policy
No refunds or returns are applicable on sales items unless they are faulty or wrongly described.
If an item is on sale due to damage or fault and you are made aware of it at the time of purchase then the item is non-refundable.
Sales prices and discount codes cannot be retroactively applied. This includes if you forgot to use the code.
If you purchased an item before a sale I do not offer refunds or store credit of the difference in price as compensation. Sales and discount codes are only valid for the duration of time they are advertised for.
Extra Information
Please note that while I do my best to accurately represent colours in our photos, variations in individual monitors may result in items looking slightly different on screen than they are in reality.
If you have a discount code then please enter this at the checkout to ensure the discount is applied to your order before paying. They cannot be retrospectively applied if you forgot to use the code. Only one discount code can be used at any one time. They are only valid for the duration of time they are advertised for.
Custom Orders Policy
Custom orders are my specialty. Please complete the Contact form to discuss your requirements further.
No refunds or returns are applicable on custom orders unless they are faulty or wrongly described, or I have misspelt something. Please note it is your responsibility to proof-read all names, words, punctuation and spelling that you nominate for custom orders, and refunds will not be given if you provided me with an incorrectly spelt name.
Cancellation Policy
HappyNess Designs has the sole discretionary right to cancel and refund an order at any given time if they choose.
Any suspicious fraudulent transactions will be cancelled at the sole discretion of HappyNess Designs.
If an order has been paid for but production on it has not yet started then I may cancel it at my sole discretion, taking into account the notes above as per Australian Consumer Law (ie not for change of mind).
Orders cancelled at the sole discretion of HappyNess Designs will have a 15% administration fee deducted from the order total to cover administration costs.
If you wish to cancel your order then please contact me to discuss, so that I can confirm that I agree to the cancellation of your order first. This will be at my sole discretion. You can contact me here on the Contact page, via direct message on my business Facebook page, via direct message on my business Instagram page, or via email at mail@happynessdesigns.com to discuss the matter further.
If I agree to a cancellation of your order then your funds will be returned to you in the same manner in which they were paid ie via the original payment method. For example if you paid via Afterpay then funds will be returned to you via Afterpay. Funds may take a few business days to be returned to you fully dependent on the financial provider involved.
Returns and Refunds
If for any reason you are unhappy with your order due to damaged or faulty goods or incorrect supply of order please contact me within 7 days of receiving the item/s to discuss.
As per Australian Consumer Law, you will not be entitled to return a product, if you:
- changed your mind
- ordered the wrong product/size/colour etc
- found the product cheaper elsewhere
- were aware of the relevant fault before buying the product, such as if the fault was written on the tag, or indicated in the photos or item description online
- damaged the product by misusing it
- used the product for a long time and the problem is as a result of normal wear and tear.
If however you need to claim a refund due to faulty goods or incorrectly picked items, then please get in touch and I will provide you with the address to mail them back to me. Returned items must be received by me in their original unused condition within 30 days of the purchase date. Refunds will not be processed until these items have been returned and inspected, or photographic evidence given clearly showing the damage or fault and I determine the product has not been damaged by the conditions set out above (ie misuse, long time use, usual wear and tear). Any items returned to me for a refund MUST be in original unused condition and in their packaging as sent to you or a refund may be declined (unless the item is inspected and deemed faulty). Refunds given will be at the sole discretion of HappyNess Designs. Please contact me to discuss and obtain a return address. Items returned via post must include tracking.
Please note:
Proof of purchase must be provided when returning your goods.
Original postage charges will not be refunded unless the goods are deemed damaged or faulty at time of purchase.
Refunds given will be at the sole discretion of HappyNess Designs.
If your order has been returned to us by Australia Post due to an incorrect address supplied by you at the time of ordering, or due to a failed delivery by them, or you refused their delivery, then you will be required to pay any additional postage charges (and any additional fees that Australia Post may have charged us) to have your order re-sent to you. If you decide that you no longer want your order, any refunds given will be at the sole discretion of HappyNess Designs and postage will not be returned.
Privacy
Please be advised that when we process your order and receive your personal information ie name, address, email, credit card details etc – this information is only used for billing purposes and we will not be passing it onto any third party, unless requested by a court of law.
